My Corner Art Studio is a free drawing and vocational class specifically for children with autism spectrum syndrome and a love of art.
The class was founded by Ms. Tam Trang, a single mother who also has a child with autism spectrum syndrome. Therefore, she understands very well the challenges that parents face when caring for and raising these special needs children.
My Corner was founded—firstly for her son, and more than that, she also wanted this to be a second home for autistic children in difficult circumstances and with a passion for painting, a place where special needs children are always loved, allowed to be creative, develop drawing skills, interact with friends and be given jobs.
My Corner is an organization that aims to support the artistic aspirations of special needs children. We recognize that there are limited career opportunities for these children in the future. Therefore, our mission is to help them find a new path by nurturing their artistic talents. We strongly believe that with a passion for art, hard work, and encouragement from their families and our team, children can hone their skills and achieve great things.
My Corner offers a program where children on the autism spectrum can have their original artwork printed onto merchandise such as t-shirts and bags. This not only provides a way for them to earn a steady income but also offers a potential career path that capitalizes on their talent for drawing.
My Corner welcomes and prioritizes children with autism aged between 10 and 18, who have a passion for drawing but are unable to afford schooling. We understand that this age is the most challenging for parents to determine a career path for their children.
My Corner always desires to cooperate with companies and organizations to create new opportunities for our special needs children. We appreciate every effort they make and eagerly anticipate seeing them shine with their talents.
